The aircraft in this picture is currently located at the Dyess AFB, TX, Linear Air Park Museum. As a point of interest about the this aircraft, Ben Marsalis on his page of Preserved U.S. Aircraft says it is actually an F-100C, S/N 54-1752 and repainted and identified as 54-1753, showing the colors of the 615th TFS, 401st TFW, England AFB, Louisiana, 1959. Comment by Dave Menard: This is not 615/401, but the 452nd FDS/450th FDW at Foster AFB, Victoria, TX. Note by Brushface: About 54-1753, Dave Menard has this one correct; it is 54-1752 at Dyess, painted up as 54-1753 and it is painted as 452 FDS, 450 FDW Foster AFB, TX. The actual 54-1753 is at Birmingham, Alabama, sitting outside collecting rain.
