Photo and information courtesy of Jeff Kolln Here is a photo of (then) 2nd Lt. William Swendner while serving with the 32nd FDS at Soesterberg on the ladder of his F-100C. Thought you may like a look see. He went on to fly F-4Cs in Vietnam and was credited with the 2nd MIG-21 shot down during the war.
