55-2793, 615th TFS, at Phan Rang AB. (Photo by Bob MacAvoy.) Note by Brushface: 55-2793 was assigned the 615 FS VZ tail code at Phan Rang AB. She returned to the USA, then flew with the 110 MO ANG, then to the 174 Iowa ANG and finally to storage at DM FE 391. In June, 1978, she went to Mojave and was converted to a QF 303 Target Drone in September, 1987. The aircraft was destroyed on 17 March, 1988, at Tyndall AFB.
