F-100D 55-2910, delivered to TuAF on 18 Dec1969. Flown by pilots of the 132th squadron, 3rd Main Jet AB, Konya (132 FILO KONYA 3 ANA JET USSU). Ex-USAF aircraft. This aircraft has been preserved near the active main flight line of F-5 / NF-5 aircraft at Konya AFB. I also took that photo during my 1993 visit to Konya AFB. I believe that this aircraft was preserved to serve as an instructional airframe for the technicians.
