Information supplied by Larry Brusface: I believe that the photo of 55-3727 was taken at Mojave when the aircraft was delivered there for drone conversion. The FE 346 storage number can be clearly seen. It was sent to Mojave in November, 1985, for conversion to a QF 232 target drone. The aircraft was destroyed by an AIM-9 missile on 5 May, 1989, Tyndall AFB. |
