56-2947 during departure from Clark AB, Philippines. Note by Larry "Brushface": 56-2947 ended her service with the 118 CT ANG. She went into storage in September, 1979, and received a Litchfield Park drone conversion in April, 1983. She was destroyed on 15 June, 1985, at Holloman AFB. Note: 2947 was also a ZEL (Zero Length launch) aircraft, capable of a VERY short take-off launch from a truck or from a silo.
