56-2957, original digital photo of Ed Wells' Fukuoka Hun modeI shows a miniature clone of his airplane when he was stationed at Misawa AB in northern Japan. Comment by Dave Menard: This serial number was not a Misawa aircraft. 56-2957 served its entire career at Nellis. Perhaps this is the first aircraft he soloed in? Comment by Larry "Brusface": 56-2957 served at Nellis until it crashed at Indian Springs Nevada on 4 Nov 1965.
