This is one of the few pics I (Don Nichols) have of a "clean" F-100, 56-3066. The picture shows the paint scheme of a 506th TFW bird. Comment by Pete Felts: I remember this airplane because it used to be parked next to my F at George AFB and the Crew Chief was A1C Pavlick. 066 went to Vietnam with us in 1965 and Pavlick was still the Crew Chief. I know that 56-3066 was in the 31st TFW/307th/21stFDS while I was in the organization; Henk Scharringa's data confirm that. Note by Larry Brushface: 56-3066 crashed on 22 July, 1968, Bien Hoa, on landing.
