Information supplied by Duane Clawson: 56-3097 was assigned to Bien Hoa AB, RVN, from September, 1965, to January, 1970 when it was shot down. (Sometime during that time period, there were two trips for IRAN (Inspect and Repair) at Tainan.) Both of these pictures must have been taken at Bien Hoa during that period. If you can date the change from silver to green painted planes, that short time period would date the top picture, #778, as there is a camo plane in line for take-off and another making a formation landing with a silver bird.
