This is a B&W photo my dad took of F-100D number 56-3138 in flight. This would be another of his squadron's photos, the 386 TFS, which later became the 522 "Fireball" squadron. Photo circa 1958, by Lt. William J. Starr, USAF. No other details or notes on it. But you can see it seems to have rocket pods on the wings in addition to wing tanks. (To amend my note, I think those are not rocket pods on the wing, but just different types of bombs. I'm unsure. But it is obviously what my father was taking a picture of.)
