This photo shows 56-3381 on the alert pad at Incirlik AB, Turkey, some time between 17 July and mid-October, 1958. I can't ID the pilots, nor the guy sitting on the canvas cot under the aircraft on the left. (It could very well be me.) The alert pad was on the edge of the taxiway at the end of the runway. We could have the pilots come running out of the tent like this and have wheels off the runway in three [3] minutes.
