56-3439 on the droneway at Tyndall in 1988, waiting to be used in the William Tell meet. Note the IR pod on the wing tip. We also painted the canopies with a flat blue paint as we had discovered that the seeker on the Aim-9 would track sun glint off the plexiglas.
